About Us:Million Mile Motors is a high-volume independent automotive dealership with multiple Georgia locations, and Mobile Holding Properties is a fast-growing real-estate investment company with holdings across the Southeast.
We're seeking a practical, results-driven In-House Attorney to handle legal matters for both companies — primarily routine litigation, evictions, and customer dispute resolution. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple business entities with limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Real Estate / Property Management
- File and manage residential and commercial evictions in Georgia and Alabama.
- Prepare and review lease agreements, notices, and settlement documents.
- Coordinate with property managers and courts to ensure timely filings.
- Handle customer complaints, demand letters, and small claims/lawsuits related to dealership operations.
- Draft and review purchase agreements, releases, and settlement terms.
- Represent the company in court for routine matters (non-jury trials, mediations, etc.).
- Support compliance with state and federal automotive regulations (e.g., advertising, financing, consumer protection).
- Respond to subpoenas, garnishments, and administrative notices.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation across multiple entities.
- Advise management on risk mitigation, collections, and contract enforcement.
- Coordinate with outside counsel for complex or high-stakes cases when needed.
Qualifications:
- Active law license in Georgia and Alabama license strongly preferred or ability to obtain quickly
- 0–3 years of experience (recent bar admittees welcome).
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, small claims/litigation, or auto dealership operations preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to appear in court, manage filings, and represent company professionally.
- Reliable, responsive, and organized self-starter.
- $40–$60/hour (based on experience).
