Description:
We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney, with one to three years of litigation experience for our Fairfield, New Jersey office. The ideal candidate should be admitted (or about to be admitted) to practice law in New Jersey and New York. This is a small but growing firm with a niche practice representing corporate and high net worth clients in various litigation and transaction matters. The ideal candidate should have interest and experience in commercial/business litigation and business transaction matters.We offer very competitive compensation and benefits package: healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, and year-end bonus. Starting salaries will range between $92,000.00 to $135,000.00 for associates with 1 to 3 years of relevant legal experience.

- Appear in court or before government agencies in New Jersey and New York
- Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of our clients
- Advise our clients on business and legal transactions
- Negotiate settlements of legal disputes
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience as a trial court law clerk is a plus but not necessary
- Ability to build rapport with opposing counsel and/or clients
- Personable and professional
