Description:
Family law practice based in D.C. and Maryland is seeking an attorney barred in Maryland and/or DC to assist the Firm in handling cases on a contract basis.This would be a great opportunity for an attorney who is currently looking to supplement their current income with occasional casework.
Desired candidate will possess:
- Minimum four years' experience in the areas of family litigation. If you do not possess the requisite years of experience, we still encourage you to apply.
- Bar admission in Maryland and District of Columbia preferred.
- Flexibility to work on cases as needed
- Experience drafting motions and pleadings; conducting legal research; and preparing and responding to discovery.
- Courtroom Experience is a plus although the position may not necessitate court appearances.
Dual admission to DC and Maryland is desirable but not required.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
