Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case development and statutory interpretation.
- Draft and review legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and briefs with precision and clarity.
- Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, developing case strategies, and participating in court depositions.
- Provide expert legal counsel on plaintiff personal injury matters and have the ability to draft briefs and discovery in both plaintiff personal injury matters and business litigation matters.
- Negotiate settlements and legal terms effectively to protect client interests while maintaining professional integrity.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously using efficient legal case management systems while ensuring compliance with procedural laws.
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding case progress, legal options, and potential outcomes to foster trust and transparency.
Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of procedural law and experience in litigation across personal injury & commercial litigation fields.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent legal writing and drafting abilities.
- Proven expertise in handling court depositions, trial preparation, and motion filing processes.
- Familiarity with research platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple cases.
- Exceptional client communication skills with a focus on building rapport and understanding client needs.
- Demonstrated experience in legal advocacy within a fast-paced law office environment with strong organizational skills.
