Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Insurance Coverage attorney. Experience preferred but not necessary, just a willingness to learn. This involves legal research and writing, providing legal advice, negotiation, and a significant amount of litigation--pleadings, motions, depositions, and appellate work.
The second position is for a civil defense attorney, for litigation of maters with a focus on personal injury.
For each, New York and New Jersey admission are preferred.
Qualifications:
- Legal Advice, Research, and Negotiation skills
- Experience in Insurance Coverage
- Experience in New York Labor Law preferred
- Strong understanding of legal principles and civil procedure
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- Salary will be commensurate with experience and years of practice
