This position will provide legal support regarding Medicaid managed care transformation; contracting support including reviewing and negotiating contracts, addressing contract performance issues, providing legal advice on procurements and evaluations, assistance with contract performance issues; review of communication materials and other documents; responding to public record requests and subpoenas; responding to CMS, OIG, and OSA inquiries/audits; and member and provider appeals and grievances.

- This position may require minimal travel with possible overnight stays
- Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Management Preferences:
- Experience with contracts (including, but not limited to, drafting, compliance issues and litigation)
- Knowledge of Medicaid and other public assistance programs
- Experience providing analysis, interpretation, and advice on federal regulations and/or federally funded programs
