Specialized law firm with national practice focused on the defense of amusement industry designers, manufacturers and suppliers, is seeking a skilled attorney to join our team. Our client's products are featured in major amusement parks, theme parks and water parks around the country and around the world. Chances are throughout your life you've experienced and enjoyed many of our client's products. Due to the broad scope of legal issues on which we advise and defend our clients, this role requires an attorney who is comfortable advising clients on a variety of legal issues, including, but not limited to product liability defense, contract drafting and negotiation.

Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage all phases of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trial preparation and trial;
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and briefs;
  • Advise clients on various legal issues;
  • Work with the team to develop strategies for effective client representation.

Experience:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school;
  • Admission to one or more state bars;
  • 5-7 years of civil litigation experience;
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft legal documents;
  • Strong analytical and research skills;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and the court;
  • Background in engineering or other technical experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-Time (Partial remote work available and necessary at times)

Pay: $65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
