Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our legal team. You will be responsible for handling a caseload of workers' compensation claims and providing legal representation to insured/employers/TPAs.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Prepare and present cases in front of administrative law judges.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to strategize and develop case strategies.
  • Stay up to date with changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing workers' compensation law.
  • Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania workers' compensation laws and procedures.
  • Experience with heart and lung cases is highly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
