Description:
A Creditor's Rights firm is seeking an entry-level Attorney to join our high volume practice. The ideal candidate will hold a license to practice law in both Kentucky and Ohio. This role requires frequent in-person court appearances around the Louisville Metro Area, as well as telephonic and virtual appearances statewide.As this is an entry-level position, comprehensive training will be provided. While you are not expected to know everything at the outset, you will be expected to learn quickly and grow into the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve final resolution of cases.
- Conduct legal research to support case strategy and decision-making.
- Manage a caseload, providing analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks.
- Travel to various courts within Indiana to represent the firm in court hearings and other legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with the Managing Attorney to report all activity and results.
- Treat all consumers/defendants with fairness and respect while creating fair payment solutions tailored to their financial situations.
- Review and draft legal pleadings and settlement agreements.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Kentucky and Ohio.
- In-depth knowledge of Federal and State laws.
- Skilled in analyzing case law and providing sound legal recommendations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
- Outstanding time management skills with the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
