Description:
Fast growing Civil Litigation Boutique Law Firm is looking for an associate with a minimum of 4+ years broad based civil litigation experience and the following attributes:- Ability to handle Texas State and federal civil litigation matters.
- Self-starter with excellent work ethic.
- Impeccable communication skills (verbal and written).
- Must be able to handle all aspects of civil litigation (pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, research, briefing, contested hearings).
- Must be proficient with Microsoft suite products and Adobe.
- Must have good working knowledge of TRCP and TRE.
- Employment law experience is a plus.
- First chair trial experience not required but a plus.
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Position requires working closely with Senior trial lawyer and founder of firm.
Compensation is base plus incentives with high income potential and quick path to equity position for right candidate.
