The Law Office of Nirav S. Patel is seeking a motivated recent law school graduate or newly licensed attorney to join its growing real estate law practice in Bloomingdale, Illinois. This is a great opportunity for a new attorney interested in gaining hands-on experience in commercial and residential real estate transactions, leasing, business acquisitions, and related legal matters.Position Overview:
The attorney will work closely with the firm on a variety of real estate and transactional matters, including purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, title and survey review, due diligence, closing coordination, entity matters, and general client communications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, professional, and eager to learn the practical side of real estate law.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include:
- Drafting and reviewing real estate contracts, leases, amendments, assignments, closing documents, and related agreements
- Assisting with commercial and residential real estate closings
- Reviewing title commitments, surveys, municipal documents, leases, and due diligence materials
- Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, brokers, title companies, and other transaction parties
- Conducting legal research as needed
- Managing deadlines and helping move transactions efficiently toward closing
- Supporting the firm with business, leasing, and general transactional matters
Qualifications:
- Recent J.D. graduate or newly admitted attorney
- Licensed in Illinois or awaiting Illinois bar admission
- Strong writing, organization, and communication skills
- Interest in real estate, leasing, business transactions, and closings
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
- Professional, dependable, and willing to learn
- Prior real estate, title, law clerk, or transactional experience is helpful but not required
