Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced, driven attorney to join and help grow our Savannah, Georgia office. This is an ideal opportunity for a hardworking practitioner who wants ownership of meaningful work, direct client relationships, and a real role in building something. You will handle a range of transactional and advisory matters while contributing to the continued growth of our presence in the Southeast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on corporate, transactional, and commercial matters, including business formation, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including equipment purchase, sale, lease, financing, and rental contracts
- Support clients through domestic and international transactions with practical, business-minded counsel
- Assist with dispute resolution matters, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation as needed
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted point of contact
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff across our offices to deliver seamless, high-quality service
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia (or eligibility for admission)
- 3+ years of relevant legal experience, with a background in corporate, transactional, or commercial law strongly preferred
- Strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the work done
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently while maintaining attention to detail
- Interest in the equipment, rental, manufacturing, or auto industries is a plus
