We are a plaintiff-side law firm focused on representing policyholders in first party property insurance disputes. Our mission is to ensure homeowners and business owners receive fair treatment and full compensation under their insurance policies. We are expanding our regional presence and seeking an experienced attorney licensed in Virginia — and ideally Maryland — to join our First Party Property team.
Position Overview:
We're looking for a First Party Property Attorney with a proven track record handling property insurance claims. This is a fully remote position, ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centered environment and enjoys working collaboratively across state lines.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a caseload of first party property insurance claims from start to finish
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence
- Represent clients at depositions, mediations, and hearings
- Maintain consistent communication with clients and team members
- Work effectively in a remote setting with minimal supervision
Qualifications:
- Active license and good standing with the Virginia Bar (required)
- Maryland Bar license (strongly preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of First Party Property experience (required)
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable using modern legal and case management technology
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $100,000 – $125,000, commensurate with experience
