About the role:Counsels and advises the Illinois Farm Bureau (IFB) and its affiliated companies on all matters of legal concern, including but not limited to corporate governance, general corporate matters, regulation and compliance, commercial transactions, employment, and litigation.

Base Pay Range:
$100,800-$138,600
- Provides wide range of legal service, involving independent planning, research, investigation, development of legal advice and review of corporate materials which are of substantial importance to the status and operation of Illinois Agricultural Association and Affiliated Companies.
- Attorneys may be asked to concentrate in one or more specific areas, with opportunities for cross-practice experience on various projects, including, but not limited to, Agriculture, Banking and Securities, Contracts, Insurance and Regulatory, Corporate Governance, E-Commerce, E-Discovery, Employment and Employee Benefits, Intellectual Property, Litigation, Real Estate and Mortgages, Tax and Transactional.
- Typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
- Licensed to practice law in the United States and ability to obtain bar admittance in Illinois (full or in-house) within a year.
- Current with continuing legal education requirements set by applicable licensing body.
