Part-Time with Opportunity for Full-Time

An established financial services firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join our team and serve clients from our Freeburg and Sparta, Illinois locations. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants an existing base of legal work along with significant potential to grow their practice.

We currently have sufficient legal work to support a part-time attorney and anticipate opportunities for continued growth. The attorney will also benefit from potential referrals generated through our established financial services relationships while having the flexibility to develop additional business through their own professional networking and marketing efforts.

Primary Areas of Practice
The attorney will primarily handle matters involving:

Estate planning, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related planning
Business formation and business transactions
Residential and commercial real estate transactions
Other related legal matters arising from the needs of our clients

Position Details:
This position will initially be part-time with the potential to develop into a full-time role as the attorney's practice and workload grow.

The attorney will work with clients through both our Freeburg and Sparta offices, with flexibility in how time is divided between the two locations.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to step into an established professional environment with an existing source of legal work while also building additional business and developing long-term client relationships.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will:

Be licensed and in good standing to practice law in Illinois
Have several years of relevant legal experience
Have experience in one or more of the following areas: estate planning, business transactions, or real estate transactions
Be comfortable independently managing client matters from initial consultation through completion
Possess strong communication, organizational, and client-service skills
Be interested in developing and growing a long-term practice
Be comfortable working collaboratively with professionals in a financial services environment

Compensation:
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will be discussed based on the candidate's background, qualifications, and the structure of the position.
