State Compensation Insurance Fund's (“State Fund's”) Riverside Legal office is seeking a motivated Attorney to join our exceptional legal team. At State Fund, we represent the insured employers and various State Agencies of California, handling challenging workers' compensation-related issues. Your Role:
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external clients
  • Draft compelling pleadings, correspondences, and communications
  • Conduct thorough discovery
  • Skillfully negote and draft settlements
  • Make confident court appearances, including trials

Working Conditions:
Location:
The Riverside State Contracts Legal unit appears at Workers' Compensation Appeals Board district offices in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. It is anticipated this position will serve primarily the Riverside and San Bernardino Boards.

This position offers the flexibility of remote work. However, to facilitate local in-person hearings, the successful candidates will be expected to attend some hearings in Riverside and San Bernardino and other calendar commitments in-person.

Position can be filled in: Ventura, Riverside, Glendale, San Diego, and Santa Ana.

Special Requirements:
The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
