The incumbent will provide legal advice regarding government procurement policy, federal financial assistance, IT, cybersecurity, and domestic content preferences.

- Provides sophisticated client counseling to OMB leadership, managers, and staff at all levels across OMB and the Executive Office of the President on government procurement policy, Federal financial assistance, information technology, cybersecurity, and domestic content preferences.
- Drafts and reviews government-wide documents, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and OMB guidance.
- Conducts in-depth legal analyses and advises on the legality and soundness of OMB's government-wide policies and guidance.
- Defends OMB's position in litigation, working closely with the Department of Justice and other Federal agencies.
