Description:

Who we are:
At JBR Law Group LLC (“JBRLG”) we believe great business and employment lawyering is about more than reacting to disputes, it is about helping organizations build compliant strategically aligned workplaces that are set up for long term success. We are a management side firm serving as a trusted partner to our clients consisting primarily of corporate and governmental entities across a broad range of industries. Our clients turn to us for sophisticated counsel whether on commercial/contractual matters or to handle their respective employment law challenges. Our firm's employment law experience is full spectrum, including, but not limited to proactive compliance counseling, confidential workplace investigations, skilled defense in high-stakes federal and state litigation, trial work and more. We have a deliberately strategic and preventative approach to the law, working closely with clients to identify and address potential risks before they become costly disputes. This also includes developing and updating employee handbooks, workplace policies, as well as executive, employee, and independent contractor agreements. When disputes do arise, we approach each matter with a clear understanding of both the legal and business objectives at stake.

Our attorneys have successfully handled matters of high exposure involving Title VII, Illinois Human Rights Act, Americans with Disability Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act, Illinois Whistleblower Act, Constitutional claims pursuant to Section 1983, and other business and commercial disputes in both federal and state courts.
