The Atlanta Office is looking for a Workers' Compensation Associate to join our growing team.

- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
- Maintain billable hours as necessary
- Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision
- Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trial when and where necessary
Position Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- 1+ years of experience working in a law office or similar legal environment (Clerkships in Superior Court will also be considered)
- At least 1 year of experience in insurance matters is a requirement for consideration for this position, 2 years of experience is preferred.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in discovery, especially depositions, motion practice, and ideally have at least some second chair litigation experience at the trial level.
- Admission to the state bar association where practicing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
- Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.
