Ford & Britton, P.C. is a small, well-established litigation firm based in the Chicago Loop. We focus on insurance defense litigation, with a strong emphasis on construction, premises liability, and transportation matters.We are currently seeking an Associate Trial Attorney to join our team. This person must be a motivated self-starter who is able to work independently and perform effectively. This is a full-time position with flexibility for remote work.
In this role, you'll manage your own caseload from start to finish — including depositions, court appearances, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and trial.
What We're Looking For:
- 3-8 years of insurance defense litigation experience
- Licensed to practice in Illinois and in good standing
- Ability to manage a full litigation caseload independently
- Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
- Experience with court appearances, depositions, and trial prep
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to client service
