Description:
The Orlando office of BakerHostetler is seeking a junior to mid-level associate with 2–4 years of experience to join its Real Estate Group, part of the firm's Business Practice Area. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated real estate transactions for a diverse client base, including regional, national, and multinational companies. The ideal candidate will have strong transactional experience, excellent drafting skills, and a collaborative approach to client service.Qualifications of the ideal candidate include:
- Experience handling a wide variety of real estate transactions from start to finish, including purchases and sales, development, leases, finance, and joint ventures, preferably involving mixed-use projects and/or other types of complex transactions
- Experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, easements, declarations, closing and loan documents
- Experience with all aspects of real estate diligence review, including title and survey review, corporate governance and authority review, opinion review and negotiation
- Effective and persuasive writing and oral communication skills, including experience speaking directly with clients and opposing counsel
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, complex workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues while assuming a high degree of responsibility
- The professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in a collaborative team environment
- Admitted to practice law in the State of Florida

- AmLaw 100 law firm experience strongly preferred
