The Houston office of Jackson Walker is seeking a Real Estate Finance associate with 3-5 years of real estate finance experience to join its growing debt finance practice. Our team represents institutional lenders, private credit providers, borrowers, developers and sponsors in sophisticated real estate financing transactions.The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience drafting and negotiating:
- Construction, acquisition, bridge, and permanent loan facilities secured by commercial real estate
- Syndicated and participated mortgage loan facilities
- Intercreditor and co-lender agreements, subordination arrangements, guaranty documentation, and opinion letters
Beyond drafting loan agreements and ancillary loan documents, associates manage transaction workstreams, coordinate transactions from structuring through closing, and work directly with clients and opposing counsel. The role offers meaningful responsibility, significant client contact, and hands-on drafting while working closely with experienced deal lawyers in a growing practice.
