Job Description:The UMKC School of Law seeks to hire an entry level tenure-track faculty member in Criminal Law. The position will begin in Fall 2027. The School of Law is looking for faculty members with a strong commitment to educating lawyers for the 21st century and those who will actively participate in our collegial, collaborative community.
Qualifications:
- A J.D. or equivalent degree is required.
- Documented scholastic success in the field of criminal law[1].
Anticipated Hiring Range
Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications, experience and evidence of success scholarly achievement and/or externally funded research. This is a 9-month, benefit-eligible, full-time (1.0) faculty appointment eligible for tenure and promotion.
