BakerHostetler has 18 offices across the United States, and approximately 1,100 lawyers.Detailed Position Description:
The Cleveland office of BakerHostetler is seeking a senior-level private wealth associate with 7 or more years of trusts and estates experience. The position includes complex drafting, research, tax analysis, project management, client interaction, gift and estate tax return preparation, and counsel regarding choice of entity (LLC, partnership, S-corp., etc.), formation and governance. Qualifications of the ideal candidate include:
- Experience in the above mentioned areas;
- Excellent research, written, and oral communication skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple assignments;
- Strong ability and desire to manage projects and interface with clients;
- A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited law school;
- Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio (or be eligible to waive into Ohio); and
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The expected annual salary for this position ranges from $260,000-$280,000. The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, experience level, education/training, and relevant skills. Associates also participate in a performance- and hours-based bonus program.
