Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in at least one state.
- Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related experience in software, such as machine learning.
- 0 – 3 years of experience in patent prosecution and admission to practice before the USPTO.
- Strong academic record with proven analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and a commitment to professional excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and file patent applications with the USPTO.
- Respond to office actions and other USPTO correspondence.
- Work directly with clients to understand their inventions and provide strategic recommendations regarding patent protection.
- Contribute to patent litigation matters and support related proceedings.
- Assist with trademark and copyright matters as part of the firm's broader intellectual property practice.
