About the Position:Heekin Law is seeking a 0-2 year Associate Attorney to join our civil litigation practice. Prior experience is not required, although litigation, clerkship, or law firm experience is helpful. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, excellent legal research and writing skills, good judgment, and a willingness to take ownership of matters and develop as a litigator.
Our practice primarily focuses on real estate litigation and general civil litigation, which are the core of the firm's work. We also handle a range of related business, contract, construction, landlord-tenant, foreclosure, property, and other civil disputes.
This is a FULL-TIME position that offers benefits and a salary commensurate with experience.

Successful candidates will also:
- have strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills;
- have strong experience drafting pleadings, conducting research and managing traditional and electronic discovery;
- be comfortable appearing in state and federal courts for various court proceedings;
- be licensed to practice as an Attorney in Florida; and
- be self-starters who are capable of working independently or as part of a team.
