Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Litigation Associate with approximately 6-8 years of experience to join our growing team in the Cleveland, OH office. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong writing skills, courtroom exposure, and a proactive approach to managing cases.The pay range for the Experienced Litigation Associate is $130,000-$165,000 plus bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all phases of the litigation from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda with minimal supervision.
Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses and clients for testimony.
Attend court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
Manage client communications and expectations; participate in case strategy and development.
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.

Qualifications:

J.D from an accredited law school.
Active Bar Membership in good standing.
6-8 years of litigation experience (civil/commercial, etc.).
Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
Courtroom and deposition experience preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

Experience in (e.g., commercial, employment, construction, or IP litigation).
Trial preparation or actual first- or second-chair trial experience is a plus.
Experience working directly with clients and opposing counsel.
