What You'll Do:
As a Litigation Attorney at Hefley Law, you will:
  • Represent employers, carriers, and self-insured entities in WCAB litigation and administrative hearings
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Conduct and defend depositions
  • Appear at court hearings and conferences
  • Engage in settlement negotiations and client strategy meetings
  • Gain exposure to trial preparation and possible trial participation
  • Collaborate with top-tier clients and colleagues in a high-performance environment

Requirements:
  • California Bar license (active and in good standing)
  • 0–5+ years of experience in workers' compensation, civil litigation, or employment law preferred
  • Strong legal writing, advocacy, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational ability
  • Willingness to appear in court and engage directly with clients and witnesses
