Description:
BakerHostetler is seeking an associate to join its Labor and Employment Group to focus on business (employment-based) immigration. The candidate will prepare nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions and will advise on long-term goals and challenges facing our clients and their global workforces. A strong background in employment-based immigration is important.Qualifications include:
- Experience in all aspects of employment-based immigration law, including preparing nonimmigrant visa petitions (including H-1B, L-1, E-2, TN, and O-1) and applications for permanent residence (including PERM, I-140, and I-485)
- Experience advising clients regarding complex international travel considerations as well as immigration-related corporate compliance (including I-9 and E-Verify)
- A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school
- Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio
