Duties:
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, and other resources to support case preparation and legal analysis.
  • Draft legal documents such as contracts, motions, pleadings, and correspondence with clarity and precision.
  • Assist with trial preparation by organizing case files, preparing exhibits, and coordinating witness schedules.
  • Support attorneys during court depositions and hearings by taking detailed notes and managing documentation.
  • Manage case files using legal case management systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility of information.
  • Participate in client communication efforts to provide updates and gather necessary information for ongoing cases.
  • Conduct statutory legal research across diverse practice areas including employment law, tribal law & regulations, personal injury law, and more.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience or internship in a law office setting is preferred but not required; strong academic background in law is essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of procedural law, litigation processes, and legal advocacy techniques.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools such asWestlaw is highly desirable.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise legal drafts and motions.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Familiarity with various practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, patent law, employment law, landlord-tenant law, tribal regulations, and general & commercial litigation.
