Job Summary:
A National Law Firm seeks an Associate to join our Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation Group in our Omaha, NE office. This dynamic role is ideal for an attorney with some experience in commercial litigation and/or IP litigation with interest in developing their knowledge and skills in complex commercial related litigation. The selected candidate will take a substantive and leading role in a variety of cases including general commercial disputes, data breach class action litigation and IP litigation while working closely with experienced partners and clients.

Responisiblities
  • Manage a broad range of complex litigation matters in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration forums, across the country
  • Handle aspects of complex civil litigation matters, including client communications, motion practice, discovery, court appearances, mediations and negotiating settlements
  • Taking and defending fact and expert depositions

QualificationsEducation and Experience
  • Currently admitted to practice in Nebraska with an active bar license in good standing or able to be admitted within one year required
  • 1+ years experience in civil litigation
  • Candidates with experience one or more of the following: general commercial litigation, IP litigation and other tort litigation preferred but not required
  • Excellent academic credentials
