The Kennedy Immigration Firm, LLC is seeking a full-time entry-level immigration attorney with a passion for courtroom advocacy and human rights to join our growing team. This is a litigation-heavy position—ideal for someone who wants to get into court early in their career, develop real trial skills, and make a direct impact on people's lives.
You'll receive mentoring and training from an experienced litigator, but we expect you to bring heart, urgency, and strong communication skills from day one.

You'll receive mentoring and training from an experienced litigator, but we expect you to bring heart, urgency, and strong communication skills from day one.
What You'll Do:
- Represent clients in EOIR immigration court, including bond hearings, master calendars, and merits hearings
- Draft motions, briefs, and evidence packets for court filings
- Prepare clients and witnesses for testimony
- Appear at USCIS interviews when necessary
- Handle filings related to asylum, cancellation of removal, SIJS, and waivers
- Collaborate closely with case managers and paralegals to develop strong legal strategies
What We're Looking For:
- Admitted to any U.S. state bar (or sitting for the upcoming bar exam)
- Spanish fluency preferred (interpreters available if not fluent)
- Strong oral advocacy skills and a desire to be in court regularly
- Excellent legal writing and research skills
- Calm under pressure, confident in front of judges, and able to think on your feet
- Passion for immigration law, human rights, and fighting for the underserved
- Commitment to trauma-informed, client-centered legal service
- You became a lawyer to be in the fight, not behind a desk
- You're ready to build your litigation skills from day one
- You're driven by purpose, not just process
- You understand that good lawyering is about preparation, persistence, and heart
