Description:
We are looking for a charismatic, welcoming, and empathetic attorney who will represent and defend our clients before EOIR and USCIS. Candidates MUST be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish. Candidates with at least 2 years of removal defense are preferred. Experience drafting motions, briefs, memorandums, and requests for prosecutorial discretion is required. Candidates with experience in immigration analysis, LPR and Non-LPR Cancellation of Removal, VAWA, Asylum/CAT, U-visas, and waivers are preferred. Prior work experience with agencies such as EOIR and the Office of the Chief Counsel is a plus.We are based in McAllen and Edinburg, TX, and the position does require the candidate to work in-person and (typically) in-office. One of our key office locations is located within the DHS/USCIS building to strategically provide our clients with services while working in close proximity to USCIS.
