Salary Range:
$125,000.00 To $175,000.00 Annually

The base salary listed is a range. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a bonus, providing the opportunity to earn additional compensation.

Position Summary:
Zinpro Corporation is seeking a highly skilled, organized and motivated attorney to join our team as Associate Corporate Counsel to provide support on general matters for a global team, including serving as business partner internally and working with outside counsel. This position will report to the General Counsel.

Essential Functions:
  • Work with our global team on cross functional matters and offer counsel on applicable legal issues, including related to the following subject areas: intellectual property, human resources, sales, research and development, supply chain, and other business topics.
  • Negotiate, draft, and review various agreements and contracts on behalf of the company.
  • Participation in procurement and engagement with outside counsel.
  • Work closely with and supervise paralegal, as needed.
  • Provide training to the company on legal topics.
  • Other duties as assigned based on business need.

Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
  • JD degree from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in US state.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of litigation experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Experience with drafting and negotiating contracts, strongly preferred.
  • Experience with patent and trademarks, strongly preferred.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting skills.
  • Must be detailed-oriented and organized, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with executive officers and other senior management.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and meet deadlines while demonstrating the highest level of customer service and response.
  • Self-aware, self-motivated, self-confident individual who is comfortable operating with minimal direction and who thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills, while taking on new challenges to continue professional development.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
  • Hybrid office environment, a combination of working in the office and remotely.
  • The work environment characteristics are those consistent with a standard office environment.  
  • Positions in this class typically require typing, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. 
  • Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Schedule Requirements

This position is expected to work within core business hours and occasionally requires participation in after-hours work with domestic and international stakeholders.   

Travel Requirements:
The position requires minimal travel; approximately 5% travel time.
