Meta seeks an experienced and motivated technology transactions attorney to join its Technology Transactions and Global Procurement Legal team supporting Meta Compute. In this role, you will serve as a strategic legal partner for complex commercial agreements that underpin the development and deployment of Meta's global data center infrastructure at scale, including AI compute, networks, and storage. You will work closely with Infrastructure, sourcing, supply chain, engineering, procurement, accounting and finance teams to structure, negotiate, and close high-value, technically complex transactions that enable Meta's platforms to serve billions of people worldwide. - Lead end-to-end negotiation and drafting of complex infrastructure technology agreements, including the development, manufacturing, and procurement of custom silicon, CPU, memory, and other critical hardware components and services from key ASIC and OEM vendors, resellers, and technology licensing partners
- Serve as a trusted business partner to Meta's Infrastructure organization, providing strategic and practical legal advice and solutions to internal stakeholder organizations to support transaction strategy, risk allocation, and critical commercial terms
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across legal, finance, tax, privacy, security, and regulatory teams to align transaction structures with company-wide requirements
- Develop and maintain scalable contract frameworks, playbooks, and standard form agreements for recurring infrastructure transaction types
- Manage and coordinate outside counsel on specialized infrastructure transaction matters, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
- Leverage AI-integrated legal workflows to improve contract review efficiency, accelerate drafting cycles, and surface risk patterns across the infrastructure transaction portfolio
Minimum Qualifications:
- J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney negotiating and drafting sophisticated technology procurement, services, and related agreements (e.g., semiconductor development, IP licensing, hardware and software development agreements, master purchase agreements, master service agreements, statements of work) either in-house and/or at a global law firm
- Experience advising cross-functional business teams on legal risk, contract strategy, and deal structuring for large-scale infrastructure or technology transactions
- Experience independently managing a high-volume portfolio of complex transactions with minimal supervision, delivering practical legal solutions aligned with business objectives
Preferred Qualifications:
- In-house experience providing counsel to technology companies in the data center, cloud, semiconductor, hardware, networking, or foundry spaces
- Knowledge of technical hardware development and manufacturing, including semiconductor design
- Experience drafting custom agreements from scratch (i.e., not from existing templates)
- Proven organizational skills, experience in managing multiple projects at once, following through, and meeting deadlines
- Proven communication skills, experience in providing in providing clear, concise and practical guidance
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
