The Zhou Law Group is expanding and seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of family law experience to join our growing team in the Bay Area. This job offer competitive, performance-aligned compensation: base $145,000 - $240,000; total compensation $145,000 - $300,000+ (If you have seven or more years of family law experience, please refer to our separate posting for Senior Level Family Law Attorneys for the corresponding salary range).

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is looking to build meaningful litigation experience, work closely with experienced family law practitioners, and grow within a collaborative and high-standard practice. You will handle a broad range of family law matters while receiving substantial hands-on experience in client management, case strategy, negotiation, and court appearances.

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of Family Law experience
  • Active admission to the California State Bar
  • Litigation or courtroom experience preferred
  • Strong writing and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and communicate professionally with clients
  • Professional composure in emotionally complex situations
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to client service

Our compensation model includes a competitive base salary combined with performance-based incentives tied to billable productivity and overall contribution.

For attorneys coming from traditional fixed-salary structures, our performance model often results in significantly higher total earning potential, depending on productivity and responsibility.

Work Structure & Benefits
We offer a hybrid work arrangement with flexibility for remote work; however, daily on-site presence is expected. In-person attendance is required for court appearances, client meetings, and other firm-related matters as appropriate.
