Job Description:What Is the Opportunity?
The Associate Director of Compliance Strategic Initiatives & Transformation Will Execute and Project Manage Critical Strategic Initiatives and Organizational Transformation Efforts that Future-Proof the Compliance Function. This Role Will Help Lead the Design and Implementation of Organizational Changes and Enhancements While Executing Urgent Strategic Priorities Such as Regulatory Remediation and Compliance Program Enhancements. This Individual Contributor Will Work Closely with The Director of Compliance Strategy & Operations to Ensure Timely Completion of Transformation Workstreams and Will Support the Execution of The Annual Global Compliance Plan Aligned with Strategic Priorities.
What Will You Do?
- Lead Project Management and Execution of Key Organizational Design Changes, Ensuring Alignment with Rbc's Long-Term Strategic Goals and Operational Efficiency Objectives.
- Execute Urgent Strategic Initiatives and Work Closely with The Global Cco, Global Head of Compliance Governance, and Director of Compliance Strategy and Operations to Track and Ensure Timely Completion of Key Priorities, Including Remediation of Regulatory Findings and Specific Compliance Program Enhancements.
- Manage End-To-End Change Management Initiatives to Optimize Organizational Efficiency and Adaptability of The Compliance Function, Including Stakeholder Engagement, Impact Assessment, and Implementation Planning.
- Assist in Project Managing the Execution of The Annual Global Compliance Plan in Alignment with The Global Cco Vision, Including Tracking Statuses and Identifying Potential Risks and Mitigations.
- Manage and Coordinate Change Requests and Assess Impact and Develop Recommendations for Implementation.
- Drive Innovation and Process Improvement Initiatives Across the Compliance Function to Enhance Scalability, Efficiency, and Effectiveness of Compliance Programs and Operations.
- Provide Strategic Insights and Recommendations on Organizational Design, Capability Building, and Transformation Readiness to Support the Director of Compliance Strategy & Operations.
- Assist in Engagement and Communications Related to Major Strategic Initiatives and Transformation Efforts, Ensuring Clear and Consistent Messaging Across the Global Compliance Organization.
Must Have:
- Bachelors Degree. 5+ Years of Strategy, Program Delivery, or Transformation Experience, with Demonstrated Capability in Leading Organizational Change Initiatives and Managing Complex, Multi-Workstream Programs Within Matrix Environments.
- Ability to Work Effectively in A Matrix Environment with Multiple Stakeholders Across Functions and Geographies.
- Demonstrated Skill in Change Management, Stakeholder Engagement, and Implementation of Organizational Design Changes at Scale.
- Accountability, Leadership, Initiative, Teamwork, and The Ability to Drive Impact and Influence Across the Organization. Strong Business Orientation with The Ability to Understand Stakeholder Needs, Address Conflicts, and Prioritize Competing Priorities Effectively.
- Advanced Communications Skills, Both Written and Verbal, with The Ability to Articulate Complex Transformation Concepts to Senior Leadership and Diverse Audiences. Advanced Research and Analytical Skills with The Ability to Translate Strategic Priorities Into Actionable Recommendations. Ability to Maintain Confidentiality of Highly Sensitive Information.

For New York/new Jersey: The Good-Faith Expected Salary Range for The Above Position Is $120,000 - $200,000 Depending on Factors Including but Not Limited to The Candidate's Experience, Skills, Registration Status; Market Conditions; and Business Needs. This Salary Range Does Not Include Other Elements of Total Compensation, Including a Discretionary Bonus and Benefits Such as A 401(k) Program with Company-Matching Contributions; Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance; and Paid Time-Off Plan.
