We are seeking a highly driven Commercial Litigation Associate with 1-3 years of experience in commercial litigation, including but not limited to:
  • Government and Administrative Law
  • Employment Law (ADA, FMLA, Title V11, etc.)
  • General Litigation (Construction, Collection, Contracts, Personal Injury, etc.)
  • Corporate & Business Law
  • Bankruptcy
  • Contract and Lease Review and Interpretation

In this role, you will:
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and manage all aspects of client representation both inside and outside the courtroom.
  • Negotiate, review, revise, and draft various types of contracts.
  • Create, analyze, and modify operating documents for legal entities, including corporations, LLCs, and partnerships.
  • Oversee and collaborate with outside counsel.
  • Advise internal clients on a range of legal and business matters.
  • Provide legal advice that considers both legal implications and business needs of the client.

Your qualifications:
  • High-level computer skills, with experience in electronic document management systems a plus.
  • Active member of the State Bar of Ohio.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Skilled in legal research software (Lexis, Casemaker, etc.).
  • Strong ability to compose both business and legal correspondence.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately under pressure.
  • Capable of managing a diverse workload and adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management with the ability to establish priorities.
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive and dedicated approach, taking pride in one's work.
