Would you like to work on industry-leading real estate development projects in the logistics space? As Associate Corporate Counsel for Real Estate, you will partner with An American Multinational Technology Company's Real Estate and Operations teams to buy, lease, entitle, construct, launch, and manage An American Multinational Technology Company's logistics facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and draft complex real estate agreements including purchase and sale agreements, ground leases, build-to-suit leases, and development agreements.
  • Partner with business teams to structure real estate transactions that meet An American Multinational Technology Company's operational needs while managing legal and business risks.
  • Advise on land use, zoning, entitlements, and permitting strategies to support facility development.
  • Manage due diligence processes including title review, survey analysis, and environmental assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, Tax, and Construction to drive projects from site selection through facility launch.
  • Develop creative solutions to complex legal issues that arise during real estate acquisition and development.
  • Support post-acquisition matters including construction contracts, property management agreements, and operational issues.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel on specialized matters while maintaining oversight of legal strategy and costs.
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks in real estate transactions and development projects.
  • Stay current on relevant real estate laws, regulations, and other trends affecting An American Multinational Technology Company's logistics network.
  • Drive continuous improvement in legal and other processes to increase efficiency and scalability across the real estate portfolio.

A day in the life:
Each day brings diverse challenges to this dynamic role. One morning, you might review an urgent site acquisition while revising a complex build-to-suit agreement for a new fulfillment center. Other days see you manage multiple deals simultaneously, reviewing purchase agreements and coordinating due diligence with tight deadlines. Some days will have you advising senior leadership on an essential escalation, while others will find you utilizing AI to improve efficiency and speed in our work. Throughout each day, you balance urgent matters with strategic work, directly impacting An American Multinational Technology Company's growing operations network.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of legal experience
  • Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
  • Experience working in real estate law in private practice or in-house at a technology company or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
  • Experience in development, land use or economic development
  • Comfortable making high-judgment decisions in ambiguous situations
