Essential Job Responsibilities:
General:
  • Perform legal work ranging from routine to difficult
  • Effectively partners with more experienced attorneys on complex/significant matters
  • Business unit partner / go-to colleague
  • Provide tactical/executional and strategic support to the businesses
  • Mentor and counsel less experienced colleagues

Contract Drafting and Negotiation
  • Independently prepares, edits, and negotiates agreements
  • Manage template contract process with business partners
  • Support more experienced attorneys with complex contracts

Other:
  • Partner with more experienced attorneys on complex/significant matters
  • Provide advice on regulatory, compliance, privacy, litigation, or other legal matters
  • Assist with litigation
  • Respond to regulatory inquiries
  • Supervise/facilitate diligence or integration in M&A

Requirements and Preferences:
  • Law degree
  • 1-2 years legal experience
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills
  • Demonstrates strong performance in legal writing
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and a demanding workload, while meeting tight deadlines
  • Proficient at legal research
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work effectively independently and with a team
