What You'll Do:
As Associate Corporate Counsel, you'll help support legal initiatives across the company while developing into a trusted legal advisor and business partner.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide variety of commercial agreements including software licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, NDAs, professional services agreements, insurance contracts, and other business contracts.
- Partner with leaders across Operations, Sales, Servicing, Compliance, HR, and Executive Management to provide practical legal guidance.
- Research legal questions and translate complex legal issues into practical business solutions.
- Assist with regulatory compliance and licensing requirements across multiple states.
- Support corporate governance activities, including corporate filings, entity maintenance, annual reports, and board-related matters.
- Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation, employment matters, and specialized legal issues.
- Identify legal and business risks while helping develop practical solutions that support company objectives.
- Participate in strategic business initiatives, acquisitions, vendor negotiations, and special projects.
- Improve legal processes, documentation, and efficiencies throughout the organization.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone with tremendous potential—not necessarily someone who has already done everything.
The ideal candidate is:
- A recent law school graduate or attorney with 0–3 years of legal experience
- Licensed to practice law in California
- Curious and eager to learn
- Business-minded and solutions-oriented
- Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
- An excellent writer and communicator
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Confident working directly with executives and business leaders
- Someone who enjoys collaboration and building strong relationships
While not required, experience or coursework in any of the following is a plus:
