We are looking for an exceptional Associate Corporate Counsel - Product to join our dynamic legal team.

What You'll Do:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (primarily Product and Engineering) throughout the full product life-cycle to provide solution-oriented legal advice related to A Cloud-Based Software Company's products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the complex laws and regulations applicable to A Cloud-Based Software Company's products and services, functioning as a trusted advisor and resource.
  • Produce clear and succinct written legal analysis and business communications.
  • Draft, manage and update foundational documents for product and service offerings.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Partnerships and Privacy teams to review, draft and negotiate key product vendor agreements and licenses.
  • Create and support continuous improvements of forms, policies and processes to simplify, scale, and automate Legal support of Product and Engineering teams.
  • Brief senior legal team members on product developments and legal issues to facilitate the delivery of consistent and effective legal advice at all levels of the organization.

Must Haves:
  • JD from ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active license in good standing with one or more U.S. state bars.
  • Minimum of two years of sophisticated legal experience.
  • Experience transacting, litigating, advising, or otherwise operating in one or more heavily regulated areas.
  • Willingness to adjust roles to the needs of the Legal team, and the ability to quickly adapt to changing needs of the organization.
  • Comfortable and adept at navigating uncharted areas and balancing risk and opportunity, thinking creatively to enable smart decision-making.
