About the Job:A Municipal, Land Use & Zoning Law Firm is seeking two litigation attorneys with 2-5 years of experience, preferably in the areas of commercial litigation and medical malpractice defense. Successful candidates will perform the following duties:
- Draft/revise responsive pleadings and other related motion practice;
- Substantial involvement in written discovery, including preparing, reviewing and responding to discovery;
- Litigation research projects;
- Prepare pre-trial motions, including motions for summary judgment, motions to strike or exclude, motions in limine, and other dispositive motions;
- Draft direct and cross-examination outlines;
- Take and defend party and fact witness depositions;
- Research and identify potential expert witnesses; and
- Trial preparation and trial second chair assistance.
Qualified candidates must have a distinguished academic record, relevant work experience, excellent research and writing skills, superior work ethic, and a team-oriented attitude. Must be licensed to practice in Missouri. Inquiries will be kept confidential.
