Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in various family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, alimony, paternity, and domestic violence cases.
Provide legal advice and counseling to clients on diverse family law issues, including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, property division, and child support.
Participate in negotiations, mediations, and courtroom litigation, as necessary.
Prepare and file all required legal documents and ensure compliance with Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure; Understand and apply the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and the Florida Probate Rules.
Experience in the areas of estate planning and probate a plus
Conduct research and analysis of legal problems
Represent clients in legal proceedings including drafting pleadings/motions, arguing motions, requesting/responding to discovery, and conducting trials
Manage assigned cases by planning case strategy, calendaring case management, executing and delegating tasks as-needed, and providing regular case updates to client and managing attorney

Qualifications:

Solution and results oriented
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
A minimum of 4 years of experience in family law or litigation, with a focus on Florida law
Strong analytical, negotiation, and courtroom skills
Commitment to ethical legal practice and a high degree of professionalism
Heightened attention to detail and understanding and meeting deadlines, without compromising efficiency and effectiveness
Strong research and writing skills
Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
