Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Represent clients in various family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, alimony, paternity, and domestic violence cases.
- Provide legal advice and counseling to clients on diverse family law issues, including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, property division, and child support.
- Participate in negotiations, mediations, and courtroom litigation, as necessary.
- Prepare and file all required legal documents and ensure compliance with Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure; Understand and apply the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and the Florida Probate Rules.
- Experience in the areas of estate planning and probate a plus
- Conduct research and analysis of legal problems
- Represent clients in legal proceedings including drafting pleadings/motions, arguing motions, requesting/responding to discovery, and conducting trials
- Manage assigned cases by planning case strategy, calendaring case management, executing and delegating tasks as-needed, and providing regular case updates to client and managing attorney
Qualifications:

- Solution and results oriented
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in family law or litigation, with a focus on Florida law
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and courtroom skills
- Commitment to ethical legal practice and a high degree of professionalism
- Heightened attention to detail and understanding and meeting deadlines, without compromising efficiency and effectiveness
- Strong research and writing skills
- Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
