Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in various family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, alimony, paternity, and domestic violence cases.
  • Provide legal advice and counseling to clients on diverse family law issues, including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, property division, and child support.
  • Participate in negotiations, mediations, and courtroom litigation, as necessary.
  • Prepare and file all required legal documents and ensure compliance with Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure; Understand and apply the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and the Florida Probate Rules.
  • Experience in the areas of estate planning and probate a plus
  • Conduct research and analysis of legal problems
  • Represent clients in legal proceedings including drafting pleadings/motions, arguing motions, requesting/responding to discovery, and conducting trials
  • Manage assigned cases by planning case strategy, calendaring case management, executing and delegating tasks as-needed, and providing regular case updates to client and managing attorney

Qualifications:
  • Positive Attitude And Superior Work Ethic
  • Solution and results oriented
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in family law or litigation, with a focus on Florida law
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and courtroom skills
  • Commitment to ethical legal practice and a high degree of professionalism
  • Heightened attention to detail and understanding and meeting deadlines, without compromising efficiency and effectiveness
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
