About the role:
The firm is searching for a full-time California Associate Attorney to join a busy workers' compensation defense practice. Looking for someone with minimum 1-2 years' experience in the workers' compensation defense field with exceptional communication skills, client relations, self-motivated, organized, and can make decisions. The position is completely remote.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an active caseload in a fast-paced, busy practice
  • Working on the files from start to finish
  • Making appearances
  • Ensuring files move towards resolution
  • Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel

Required Qualifications:
  • Active license to practice law in California
  • Workers' compensation defense experience
  • 1-2 years' experience of defense workers compensation
  • Strong writing and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage a demanding caseload
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and is comfortable owning case tasks with limited oversight
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
