About the role:The firm is searching for a full-time California Associate Attorney to join a busy workers' compensation defense practice. Looking for someone with minimum 1-2 years' experience in the workers' compensation defense field with exceptional communication skills, client relations, self-motivated, organized, and can make decisions. The position is completely remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an active caseload in a fast-paced, busy practice
- Working on the files from start to finish
- Making appearances
- Ensuring files move towards resolution
- Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel
Required Qualifications:
- Active license to practice law in California
- Workers' compensation defense experience
- 1-2 years' experience of defense workers compensation
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage a demanding caseload
- Self-starter who takes initiative and is comfortable owning case tasks with limited oversight
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
