Our growing mid-size federal sector employment and labor law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our principal office in Dallas, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to build a long-term career in a specialized area of law. Unlike many legal positions, our associates receive meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and hands-on litigation experience early in their careers. Associates will have direct access to firm leadership and senior attorneys along with a collaborative and supportive work environment.

This position is ideal for a motivated attorney interested in developing a practice in federal administrative and transactional law, with a focus on Federal Office of Workers' Compensation Programs and Federal Disability Retirement matters. No prior experience in federal employment or labor law is required. We provide comprehensive training and mentorship for new hires. Recently licensed Texas attorneys and attorneys licensed in jurisdictions outside of Texas are encouraged to apply.

This is a non-litigation position. The role involves legal writing, client communication, and case development. Good oral and writing communication skills are crucial for this position.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing with any U.S. state bar
  • Strong legal writing, research, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a team environment
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
