Wintersteen Casarez Law Corporation offers a robust training and mentorship program for new attorneys to guarantee their success as they embark on their legal journey, or transfer into a new practice area. This model allows attorneys to quickly begin practicing law under the guidance of senior attorneys who are dedicated to their education and growth.
Attorneys manage the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from inception to final resolution, including all aspects of discovery and litigation. The attorneys work closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators. We are now seeking an Attorney with 0 – 2 years of workers' compensation defense experience.
Requirements:
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's and Juris Doctor degrees;
- Member of the State Bar of California
- Superior research, analytical, and negotiating ability;
- Excellent written and oral communication;
- Commitment to proactive case management;
- Experience in Merus and/or Litify is preferred but not required;
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams is preferred but not required.
