Description:
Segal McCambridge, a respected national litigation firm, is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join our General Liability Practice Group. This is a fully remote position, open to attorneys located anywhere in the U.S., provided you hold an active California law license. A dual license in any additional state is highly preferred.This role offers a unique opportunity to gain meaningful litigation experience on high-stakes cases while working alongside nationally recognized trial attorneys.
What You'll Do:
As a key member of our team, you'll work on a wide variety of complex civil defense matters, including:
- Premises and habitability claims
- Warranty and other high-exposure litigation
This is a fully remote role, with potential for travel to attend depositions, hearings, trials, or team events as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Active license to practice law in California (required)
- Dual license in any other U.S. state (highly preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience in civil litigation (defense preferred)
- Strong skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy
- Experience drafting pleadings, handling discovery, and managing motion practice
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, ownership-driven approach
