Overview:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies across multiple practice areas
- Draft and review legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda with precision and clarity
- Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, developing case strategies, and assisting with trial preparation activities
- Represent clients in court depositions, hearings, and negotiations to advocate effectively on their behalf
- Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software while maintaining meticulous records
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, gather information, and offer sound legal counsel
- Stay current on procedural laws and statutory changes relevant to various practice areas such as employment law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, and tribal regulations
Experience:
- Proven experience in general & commercial litigation, personal injury law, employment law cases or related fields
- Hands-on experience with court depositions and trial preparation processes
- Strong background in legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms
- Demonstrated ability in legal drafting, motion preparation, and procedural law knowledge
- Prior law office experience with exposure to client communication and legal case management systems
- Familiarity with negotiation tactics and legal advocacy techniques across diverse practice areas
- Excellent writing skills complemented by the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively
