Description:
Patel & Cardenas LLC, a respected real estate and probate law firm based in Freehold, NJ, is seeking a New Jersey-licensed attorney to join our litigation department.The associate will primarily support the firm's real estate and probate litigation practice, working closely with Partner Veer P. Patel and Attorney John Voorhees on an active caseload in the Chancery Division, with occasional Law Division matters.
This position is fully remote, though the attorney must be available to appear in person for court proceedings if required. The role involves drafting motions, handling discovery, participating in virtual hearings, and managing client communications. The associate may also assist with transactional real estate matters under the supervision of Partner Lazaro Cardenas.
Qualifications:
- Must be admitted to the New Jersey Bar and in good standing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for remote collaboration
- Ability to maintain a professional remote work environment suitable for virtual court appearances
Compensation:
- Salary range: $65,000 – $70,000 annually (W-2)
